How Does Bowen Hockey Work?

Bowen Hockey Association welcomes players of all abilities, from the experienced to the beginner, any fitness levels, women, men, girls and boys.

Players play in one of our three divisions:

1. Junior - 6 to 9 years
2. Intermediate - 10 to 15 years (including Bowen State High School team players)
3. Youth and Seniors - 16 years and over (including Bowen State High School team players)

Weekly Training and Games:

All training and games are held at the Bowen State High School. The first half of the session focuses on skills in the undercover area, followed by skills and games on the oval.

Training

Every Wednesday - 3pm to 5pm - all players are encouraged to attend for skill drills and game training.

Games

Every Sunday

1pm to 2pm - Junior Players

2pm to 3pm - Intermediate Players

3pm to 4pm - Youth and Senior Players

Shin guards and mouth guards are mandatory for all game days.
